Dr. Yogendra Vashishtha is a seasoned leader in the Australian electricity sector with over three decades of expertise spanning asset management, innovation, and strategic advisory in power transmission and distribution networks. Currently serving as the Head of Future Networks at EA Technology Australia, he guides energy utilities across Australia and New Zealand in their transition to net-zero through distributed energy integration, grid modernisation, and resilience planning.

Yogendra began his journey with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from IIT Roorkee, followed by a Ph.D. from IIT Bombay. His early career included over a decade at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai. Since then, he has held senior engineering and leadership roles across major utilities and consultancies in Australia, championing innovations in demand response, DER/CER integration, and national energy transformation programs.
